Caribbean culture takes center stage at downtown Mobile festival

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Mobile’s ties to carnival culture go deeper than many people realize.

On Saturday, May 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 8: 00 p.m., you can experience Caribbean traditions, culture and learn the history of carnival in downtown Mobile at Oyster City Brewery.

The Greater Gulf Coast Caribbean Culture and Arts Festival is hosting the event and encouraging the community to take part in the music, art, and educational experiences.
