Louisiana woman dies in I-10 Bayway crash

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – A 65-year-old Louisiana woman lost her life and two other people were injured in a crash Wednesday night on Interstate 10 in Baldwin County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Carolyn J. Hunt-Loga of Slidell was pronounced dead at the scene of the multiple-vehicle crash, which occurred at about 9:15 p.m. on the I-10 Bayway near U.S. 90, about a mile west of the Daphne city limits.

Hunt-Loga was fatally injured when the 2015 Mazda 6 that she was driving was struck by a 2018 Dodge 3500 driven by Benito Sanchez, 21, of Henderson, Texas, ALEA said. The agency said that, as a result of the impact, the Mazda then struck a 2011 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by a Texas man…
