Stockton is preparing for one of its busiest and most significant holiday weekends as residents and visitors gather for three days of Independence Day celebrations from July 2 to July 4. This year’s festivities hold added importance as the United States commemorates the 250th anniversary of its independence, with the city hosting a blend of patriotic traditions, live entertainment, sporting events, and community activities.
The celebrations will culminate on Saturday, the Fourth of July, with Stockton’s annual Independence Day Parade winding through downtown. The parade is expected to feature marching bands, colourful floats, veterans’ groups, local organizations and performers, drawing thousands of spectators to celebrate the nation’s historic milestone.
Following the parade, festivities will continue at Weber Point Events Center, where visitors can enjoy an evening festival featuring live music, cultural performances, artisan vendors, food stalls and activities for children.
