The search continues for a Modesto woman who has been missing since July 18. Lydia Suzanne Van Olden’s empty vehicle was found near Lake Tulloch, east of Knights Ferry, and reported to law enforcement by a concerned citizen.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office efforts to locate Van Olden that day were unsuccessful. One day later, the TCSO received a “be-on-the-lookout” for Van Olden after a family member reported her as “an at-risk missing person.”
Deputies searched the grounds where her vehicle was found and the surrounding terrain while the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Boating Unit searched the lake and the shoreline…
