(FOX40.COM) — A man was sentenced to 49 years to life for the rape, repeated sexual and physical abuse of two underage sisters, District Attorney Ron Freitas announced Monday.
The sentencing is the result of a 6-year-long case involving four female victims who came forward against the convicted rapist, 61-year-old Rodney Dartanyon Alexis Smith.
In 2018, a 14-year-old girl reported to the Stockton Police Department that Smith had been sexually and physically abusing her since middle school.
