MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – We’ve already reached 100° in Montgomery this week, but some of the strongest heat could still be ahead of us. Rain chances take a small step backwards early next week, and that means fewer opportunities for those downpours to halt temperatures in the middle or upper 90s.
Even if your temperatures don’t reach the triple digits, heat indices will easily reach 105° to 110° in most locations each afternoon. A few pop-up showers and thunderstorms are possible and could cool you off significantly, but don’t bank on seeing a downpour each day through the weekend.
But in the meantime… This evening will seem very similar to yesterday. There will not be a ton of rain, but the showers could bring a nice relief in the temperature. When it does rain- it will pour!!…
