ALEA launches new online marine event permit submissionto streamline service

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol Division is enhancing its service to the public with the launch of a new, streamlined online submission form for marine event permits.

The updated system replaces the previous paper-based process, which required applicants to download, print and scan forms prior to submission. With the new digital platform, individuals and organizations can now complete and submit applications entirely online, saving time, reducing paperwork and improving overall efficiency.

ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor said, “This new online submission process reflects ALEA’s commitment to continuously improving how we serve the public in all aspects of the Agency. By simplifying the application process, we are better able to support those hosting events while continuing our mission of promoting safety on Alabama’s waterways.”…
