Jason Wilson out as Montgomery Whitewater’s executive director

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Montgomery Whitewater is searching for a new executive director after the departure of Jason Wilson after less than a year on the job.

The change comes just over a week after the water park paused water activities for a month due to needed repairs to its water filtration system, though no official reason has been given for why Wilson is no longer in charge.

Wilson, who helped bring the Montgomery Biscuits to the Capital City in 2004, joined Montgomery Whitewater last July.

In a statement to WSFA 12 News, the Montgomery County Community Cooperative District, or MCCCD, thanked Wilson for his contributions and says it wishes him the best moving forward…
