The National Weather Service in Morristown is warning of the potential for strong thunderstorms and localized flooding across Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Southwest North Carolina through at least Monday.
According to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued early Tuesday morning, scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop again Tuesday afternoon and evening. Some storms could produce strong wind gusts and isolated flooding.
The outlook also calls for scattered thunderstorms each day from Wednesday through Monday, with the potential for additional strong winds and localized flooding as the unsettled weather pattern continues…
