NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Eleven people have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged involvement in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine across Middle Tennessee.
Officials with the Middle District of Tennessee U.S. Attorney’s Office said the indictment and other court filings revealed Corey Byrd — who is currently serving a 45-year sentence in the Tennessee Department of Correction’s custody — allegedly directed the conspiracy from prison via contraband cellphones to coordinate methamphetamine trafficking across Middle Tennessee.

Here is a list of the 11 people charged in the alleged conspiracy:
- Corey Byrd, 38
- Tiffany Byrd — also known as Tiffany Harris — 35, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
- Robert “Smiley” Miles, 52, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
- Demond “Jerry” Garrett, 42, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Jason Bost, 45, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Haylee Groover, 26, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Chelsie Dickson, 31, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Alyssa Whitsett, 22, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Sherri Holder, 49, of Pulaski, Tennessee
- Stacy Taylor — also known as Stacy Ramsey, 45, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
- Lila Chester, 28, of Pulaski, Tennessee
Members involved in the conspiracy are alleged to have distributed 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, which is a Schedule II controlled substance, according to the indictment.
