Advocates question ICE arrest after man hurt jumping from balcony in Rutherford County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Pro-immigration advocates are raising concerns after an ICE arrest in Rutherford County left a man injured, prompting calls for more transparency about immigration enforcement actions in hospitals.

Federal officials confirmed ICE agents were trying to arrest Lucas Gualna-Quib, who was wanted after missing two immigration court hearings and has a final order of removal.

ICE agents said Gualna-Quib refused commands and was hurt when he jumped from a second-story balcony while trying to escape arrest.
