KENTUCKY — Agents with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force seized methamphetamine and other drugs and arrested a Tennessee man following a vehicle chase Monday evening, according to authorities.
A press release from the task force said deputies with the Allen County Sheriff’s Office attempted to initiate a traffic stop around 6:10 p.m. along Holland Road as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. The driver refused to stop and fled westbound, leading officers on a pursuit.
During the chase, authorities said a tire deflation device was deployed, but the suspect continued driving. Investigators said the driver struck an unmarked detective’s vehicle while fleeing through the city limits of Scottsville and also threw items from the vehicle during the pursuit…
