Liberty Man Gets Six Year Suspended Sentence for Shooting his brother

A Liberty man arrested for shooting his brother in January appeared for sentencing in DeKalb County Criminal Court Thursday, April 23

23-year-old Ayden Awan White, originally charged with attempted second-degree murder, entered a plea by criminal information to aggravated assault after his brother, the victim who has apparently now recovered from the shooting, chose not to proceed with prosecuting the case. The two can even still have contact according to the court document.

White received a six year sentence all suspended and he had to forfeit his firearm. White was given 94 days jail credit…
