SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Rutherford County deputy school resource officer will be participating in a fundraiser for a 5-year-old boy with Leukemia.
Colton Osborne, 5, was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia in November, his mother, Angela, told the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. Due to his diagnosis, Colton has to undergo 24-hour, high-dose chemo treatments every two weeks.
“We’ve got some tough treatments ahead but we just have to keep praying,” Colton’s mother said.
This weekend, to help alleviate some of the mounting medical costs, a co-worker of Angela’s husband and some of her friends have organized a fundraiser called “Cruisin’ for Colton.”…
