KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – An East Tennessee-based hemp manufacturer has filed a WARN Notice that will result in over 100 people being laid off.
Greenbean Ventures, LLC, based in Johnson City, notified the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development that 121 workers across eight locations across East Tennessee will be impacted:

- 6315 Kingsport Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37615
- 100 Cargo Center Dr., Blountville, TN 37617
- 716 Parkway, Ste. 111, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
- 1131 + 1133 N. Main Ave, Erwin, TN 37650
- 615 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy., Greeneville, TN 37745
- 105 Courthouse Square, Jonesborough, TN 37659
- 625 W Elk Ave, Elizabethton, TN 37643
- 3432 Fort Henry Dr., Kingsport, TN 37664
The employees, who are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement and do not have bumping rights, will be laid off effective July 13, the WARN Notice said.
