ATLANTIC BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Atlantic Beach Town Council reviewed a report Monday night on Bikefest 2026 from Interim Town Manager Titus Leaks, discussing event revenue, vendor participation, public safety decisions and planning for future festivals.
Leaks reported that Bikefest 2026 included 26 food vendors, 13 retail vendors, one alcohol permit and 26 RVs, generating approximately $88,000 in revenue.
Council members also discussed a disputed $20,000 entertainment payment. According to the report presented by Leaks, the payment was not collected because a check was reported to have bounced. Another speaker disputed that account, saying the check did not bounce and that payment had been stopped…
