HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Horry County leaders are moving forward with plans to expand the J. Reuben Long Detention Center as the jail population continues to climb.
Officials said the detention center housed 848 inmates as of this morning and could exceed its capacity in the coming years as the county continues to grow.
