SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Many questions remain about the March cyber incident in which a $545,000 electronic payment intended for a North Carolina contractor that performed underground utility work in Surfside Beach ended up being diverted to scammers.
One question is where did the funds meant for Wildcat Contractor Inc. end up? Another one is, will it be possible to recover the money?
