Husband of missing Horry County woman now considered suspect, police say

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The husband of an Horry County woman who was last seen in May is now considered a suspect in the case, the county’s police department told News13 on Tuesday.

Cyrena Anderson was reported missing on May 19 by her sister, who told police that they had not spoken since May 12. In a Facebook post, Horry County police said she did not show up for work on May 14 and that her husband, Danny L. Osborne, 47, told investigators that his wife packed up her belongings and left home early on May 13.

HCPD previously considered Osborne a “person of interest,” but because of his continued lack of cooperation, police now consider him a suspect. Police say Osborne is the only named suspect in the case…
