Not only does the number of tourists in Myrtle Beach decrease after Labor Day, the rules for the beach are more lenient, too. Myrtle Beach’s rules for dogs, bicycles and tents change.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, dogs are allowed on the beach and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at any time. Dogs still must be leashed, and dog owners are required to clean up after their pets.
