LORIS, SC (WMBF) – A Loris family is trying to pick up the pieces after a fire destroyed their home almost a week ago.
The Morales family is grateful everyone was able to get out of the home safely, including their pets, but as investigators continue to determine the cause of the fire, bills are piling up.
The fire happened last Wednesday in the early evening along Highway 746 in Loris.
One of the siblings in the home heard something odd coming from the garage area and went to check it out when they noticed the flames. They then alerted everyone in the house, and they all made it out safely…
