WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – More than two years after the death of a 3-year-old, an Aurora man is accused of causing the toddler’s death.
Joshua Bernardini, 27, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery to a child causing great bodily harm or permanent disability.
Loves Park police launched an investigation in 2023 following a Department of Children & Family Services report, according to court documents.
