A team of gymnasts, all with different abilities, are preparing to head to Minnesota to represent Illinois at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
The four exceptional gymnasts were selected to represent Team Illinois at the Games and have spent months training to compete at the big stage.
“They are so excited to go. It is a great opportunity. They are very lucky,” said Glen Marks, one of the group’s coaches, alongside Kathy Seaver. “They amaze me with what can do and how they show off their abilities not disabilities.”…
