Summer is here, which means every weekend, an enchanting town near Chicago is hosting a festival that feels like it’s straight out of a Hallmark movie.
This weekend is no exception, as the 2026 Rotary GroveFest takes place in Downtown Downers Grove.

The family-friendly festival will feature a carnival, a beer garden, various activities, vendor booths, and much more. Local bands, including Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press, are scheduled to perform throughout the weekend.
Additionally, on June 28, there will be a Festival of Cars from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone can participate in this event, where cars will cruise around near the Main Street Metra station.…
