As the storms over the last few days have now subsided, we have a few updates for our North Aurora community. According to local weather reports, North Aurora had upwards of 9โณ of rain that started on Thursday, July 2 and wrapped up with the final storm the afternoon of Saturday, July 4.
We are aware that several homeowners are experiencing both flooding and sewage issues due to the heavy rainfall, and Village Hall is right there alongside those folks as we experienced sewage backup inside the building. As such, Village Hall will be ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ starting tomorrow, Monday, July 6, as we work to clear and clean the building. The Village Board meeting scheduled for 7pm tomorrow is ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ as well. Updates will be provided as to when Village Hall will reopen, but will likely be closed the majority of this week. All Village operations ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ during this time.
