The Oswego Police Department says a 13-year-old boy has been charged with a hate crime and disorderly conduct.
Police say they received a report last Monday and began investigating messages allegedly shared on social media by the 13-year-old. The messages were described as racial and threatening in nature and were directed at two other 13-year-old boys.
The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office filed charges Thursday, and the boy appeared in Juvenile Court on Friday. He faces six counts in total…
