An innovative new resource is giving residents, businesses, visitors and community leaders a more complete understanding of life on Sanibel and Captiva.
The SanCap360 Community Dashboard, officially launched this month, brings together more than 40 diverse community indicators and performance metrics into a single, publicly accessible platform. From real estate activity and business openings to public safety trends, environmental indicators, tourism metrics and community demographics, the dashboard provides a comprehensive picture of the islands and the factors shaping their future.
The project began as a grassroots effort following Hurricane Ian, when island residents and business leaders recognized the need for reliable, centralized data to guide recovery efforts and future decision-making.
