Marty McFly, Bill Cody Among Tennessee Radio Hall Of Fame Class.

The Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2026, with the induction ceremony scheduled for July 25 at the performing arts center at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin.

The class includes several figures with deep country music ties. Bill Cody, host of Ryman Hospitality “WSM Radio” WSM-AM Nashville’s long-running “Coffee, Country and Cody” morning show and a Country Radio Hall of Famer, is among the inductees. Marty McFly, a 30-year radio veteran, most recently hosted mornings on Cumulus Media WSM-FM Nashville (95.5), a post he held from 2014 until departing last June. He continues to host “McFly and the Ride ” on Zimmer Broadcasting “94.7 The Country Giant” WGSQ Cookeville, a show that has been on the station since 1998.

Perhaps the most historically notable inductee with country roots is Dale Evans, the actress, singer and songwriter who became a western music icon alongside Roy Rogers. Evans began her career as a radio vocalist at WMC-AM and WREC-AM in Memphis before moving on to larger markets and eventual stardom…
