Nashville airport authority considers lawsuit over Tennessee law that vacates existing airport authority boards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners announced Friday that it will be holding a special meeting to address a new law in Tennessee.

In a June 10 special meeting, the MNAA board will vote on potential litigation against the state of Tennessee over a new law that would wipe out “each existing authority for metropolitan and regional airports, and reconstitute a new governing body.”
