Gallatin man indicted on theft charge from employer

A Gallatin man has been indicted after authorities allege he stole roofing equipment from his employer’s warehouse and attempted to sell it.

Luther Franklin Gregory, 52, was indicted in March 2026 by a Sumner County grand jury on one count of theft between $10,000 and $60,000. He was arrested on June 5 and booked into the Sumner County Jail on $150,000 bond, with an additional charge of identity theft listed on the booking documents.

According to court reports, Gregory had been employed at CentiMark Roof Systems in Hendersonville. In October 2025, another employee reportedly told authorities that Gregory had told him he was selling company equipment out of the warehouse and could get the witness anything he needed for cheap…
