NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A K9 officer sniffed out 15 pounds of meth during an investigation into drug trafficking activity at Nashville storage units, leading to the arrest of an alleged drug courier.
Jose Antonio Oivas-Avila, 21, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 3 after moving items between storage units.

According to court documents, Oivas-Avila is a “known drug courier” who told a Nashville storage facility manager that he was going to take his business elsewhere after workers let a Metro Nashville Police K9 conduct an open air sniff.
