ROLAND, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Wednesday press release announced Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland will be welcoming a trailblazing female country music artist in just one month at Lee Creek Tavern inside the casino.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, Terri Clark, a pioneer in country music and multi-JUNO Award winner, will perform at 8 p.m. at a free show for those 21 and older.
The release said Clark has built a remarkable career that spans decades, as she began her music career performing at Nashville’s famed Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, becoming the only Canadian female member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Clark’s music includes 20 singles and six No. 1 hits, including:
- “If I Were You”
- “Poor Poor Pitiful Me”
- “Emotional Girl”
- “In My Next Life”
