NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A sweeping Vanderbilt University development proposal could transform more than 40 acres near its Nashville campus, but the history of how the university acquired some of that land is adding another layer to the debate over just how much development Metro Council should allow.
Vanderbilt is seeking approval for its proposed “Innovation Neighborhood,” a mixed-use development planned across roughly 43 acres between the university’s campus and West End Avenue.
