NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A sulcata tortoise named “Ginny” is back home after disappearing from her Nashville backyard two weeks ago and turning up nearly six miles away, outside Nissan Stadium.

Phil Shay said he discovered Ginny was missing when he went to mow the grass and spotted a disturbance near the gate.

“I notice this one spot by the gate where it looks like there’s been something moved, and I’m like, ‘that looks like Ginny could have got out of there,’” Shay said.
