49ers WR Jauan Jennings still drives the same car he drove as a college student at Tennessee

Earlier this week, a photo of Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck with his newly purchased Lamborghini made the rounds on social media.

Lavish purchases are becoming the norm in college football thanks to the NIL era.

Speaking of NIL, current San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings, a former Tennessee Vols standout, is a player that could’ve cashed in during his time as a college student had NIL deals been legal at the time.

Jennings was (and still is) an immensely popular player during his time at Tennessee. His relentless on-field play, a trait he’s carried over to the NFL, led to him becoming a fan favorite on Rocky Top.

But even if Jennings had earned significant cash in college, he likely wouldn’t have gone wild making lavish purchases.

According to The Tennessean, Jennings, who has been in the NFL since 2020, still drives the same 2014 Nissan Maxima that his step-mom bought him while he was in college at Tennessee.

From The Tennessean : Jennings signed a four-year $3,406,024 contract with the 49ers, which included a signing bonus of $111,024 with an average salary of $851,506.

Bennie (Jennings’ father) says Jennings hasn’t gone out and purchased lavish items. He still drives the car Bennie’s wife, Jennings’ step-mom, bought him in college, a 2014 Nissan Maxima.
