Major meth trafficking operation in West Tennessee results in 19 indictments

JACKSON, Tenn. — Nineteen people have been indicted in what officials say was a large-scale drug trafficking operation tied to methamphetamine distribution across West Tennessee, following a two-year investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

U.S. Attorney D. Michael Dunavant and District Attorney General Neil Thompson announced the unsealing of the indictments, calling the case the result of a coordinated effort between federal, state and local partners.
