NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was injured overnight after a gun was fired during an attempted robbery, according to Metro police.
Officers responded to a house in the 5100 block of Rhett Drive just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The Metro Nashville Police Department said a woman had just arrived at the house with a friend when 3-4 men attempted to rob them in the driveway.
The woman’s son witnessed the altercation and fired a shot toward the suspects, but that gunshot struck the passenger in the shin.
