NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is facing felony charges after he is accused of carjacking a woman outside a hardware store before driving her to a Madison park, where he attempted to sexually assault her, officials said.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the incident began after the victim stopped at a hardware store in the 5500 block of Clarksville Pike on Monday, April 27.

She reportedly told authorities that when she put her vehicle in park, a man—identified as 54-year-old Danny Brown—opened the front passenger door of the vehicle and had a “grip of a pistol protruding from his pocket.”
Officials said the victim stated that Brown then grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the passenger side of her truck before he climbed over to the driver’s seat and drove away. The victim added she was “in a state of fear,” since Brown had allegedly threatened her with a firearm before…
