KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Judge Victor Gregoire has ordered a “stay” of proceedings for the joint lawsuit filed by Kenner mayoral candidate Diane Schnell and Kenner District 1 Council candidate David Weathersby.
The ruling came after both plaintiffs’ attorney asked for the hearing to be temporarily paused while the lawsuit is transferred from Baton Rouge to Jefferson Parish.
