Storms move into Louisiana, more rain in the afternoon and evening

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A flood watch issued for SE LA again today. Monitoring a strong line of storms move into the state from the west this morning. We have already seen tremendous weakening of this line from earlier on today when they were passing through Houston.

Behind these storms is a secondary MCS, (mesoscale convective system) coming up of of south central Texas. Expecting the same general weakening of this previously severe complex to occur as it travels east.
