Trayvon McKenzie was found not guilty of second-degree murder Thursday in the January 2024 shooting death of 22-year-old Malaak Ross during an alleged drug deal.
The case against the 19-year-old McKenzie rested on the testimony of two accomplices in an alleged plot to rob Ross. One of those men said McKenzie shot Ross as soon as the group met up.
