New Orleans piano teacher accused of raping student ordered held without bond

A private piano teacher accused of molesting multiple young students is being held without bond as he awaits a dangerousness hearing Thursday in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.

Joshua D. Wexler, 47, a musician who divided his time between New York and New Orleans, was arrested Friday on first-degree rape, molestation of a juvenile and two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
