This rock ‘n’ roll residence in New Orleans’ Lake Vista neighborhood has turntables and more

When Rhonda and Jeff Wyatt moved back to New Orleans after 28 years in Las Vegas, they brought a collection of lamps by Baton Rouge’s Lucas McKearn, as well as an extensive and colorful art collection, much of which involves subject matter related to New Orleans.

The couple first met as undergraduates at LSU, and had thriving medical careers before buying and running a successful restaurant in Vegas and traveling the world. But the Crescent City called them home in 2025, to an impressive three-story townhouse in the desirable Lake Vista neighborhood.

One of the most striking features of their home is Jeff Wyatt’s eye-popping collection of turntable rigs and tube amplifiers by TriangleArt’s Tom Vu, a friend and sound engineer who makes them in Anaheim, California, for the world’s most discerning audiophiles.
