NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating two separate shootings that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 23.
According to the NOPD, the initial incident occurred in the St. Roch neighborhood in the 2300 block of Franklin Avenue at approximately 3:13 a.m.
Police said a man, who was described as “uncooperative,” said he was shot in the butt while inside the residence with two unknown men. He later taken to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS.
