No arrests have been made yet in a double fatal shooting in Jersey City that claimed the lives of two men, ages 47 and 53, respectively, early this morning, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced.
Shortly after 1 a.m. today, the Jersey City Police Department was notified of shots fired in the area of 109-111 Old Bergen Road, Mello said in a statement.
Responding officers located two unresponsive males – ages 47 and 53, both of Jersey City – inside a residence with apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to the Jersey City Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.
