SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) — A person is missing Friday afternoon following a boating incident on the Pagan River near the North Church Street Bridge, according to Zach Widgeon of the Virginia Marine Resources Commission.
A 68-year-old man fell off a pontoon boat on the Pagan River around 2 p.m., Widgeon said.
