POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY) — One of the harder hit areas of Monday’s storms was Poquoson.
Trees were scattered around roads and yards along the Poquoson River. One couple had a tree fall right on top of their two cars.
The Moores were enjoying their Monday night when the storms rolled through.
“Well, we couldn’t walk outside. It took a considerable amount of time for the storm to lighten up enough where we were comfortable going outside. The hail came down extremely thick probably like marble size hail. Then the whirling of all the leaves and the limbs like she was saying, you couldn’t even see out,” Donald Moore told 10 On Your Side…
