HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — An apartment complex fire has left an unknown number of residents without a home, according to the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.
According to Fire and rescue, crews were dispatched to the 2100 block of Cunningham Drive after reports of smoke coming from the second floor of the building. The original call came in at 6:06 p.m. Fire crews were on scene four minutes later and began evacuating residents while performing an aggressive fire attack.
By 6:50 p.m. the fire was marked out and no injuries were reported.
Officials say, “an unknown number of occupants from four units who were displaced.” The Red Cross will be assisting those impacted…
