As students across Hampton Roads prepare to head back to school Monday, dozens of families took advantage of a special community event designed to help children look and feel their best for the new academic year.
The Hampton Roads Professional Beauty and Barber Technicians partnered with Southeastern Virginia Health System for their 22nd annual “Looking Cool for School” event Sunday at Above All Hair Studio in Hampton. The free event provided haircuts, hairstyles, shoes, and school supplies to local families.
