ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Route 460 in Isle of Wight County has closed due to a structure fire Thursday evening, according to the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office.
As of around 7:52 p.m. on Sept. 3, the office confirmed that the route had been closed in both directions for two hours. When the road will reopen is unknown.
Isle of Wight County Fire Rescue confirmed on Facebook that there was a fire in the 5300 block of Windsor Boulevard in Zuni. At the time, the department advised the public to be cautious while driving through the area or to avoid it if possible. Whether this fire is the one that closed Route 460 is unknown…
